"Thunders and lightnings cross the dark gray sky when the storm rises the ship and breaks it as a nut. Men scream while waves eats them, in a blue hell of salt and water. But sometimes, if the Gods are pleased, the wild sea embrace the castaway in a peaceful hug to deep bottom of its bowels, where the cave is. Only the God of Water, Niska "The Mermaid", can judge if the soul of a human being is worthy to cross the cave and find the portal gate to Tir Na Nog, the sacred land beyond the sea where the Gods of the Elements live...
Aloha castaway, I'm Niamh, the cyclop fish, "The Storyteller". If your steps had drive you in front of me, it means that you are blessed by Niska and you can cross this gate. But be ready, cause my scales are telling me that soon something terrible is going to happen... And my scales never lie..."

Tir Na Nog (Act I, introduction scene) in Artemis Gallery
It's a pleasure for Morlita and myself to invite you to come to the opening of Tir Na Nog (Act I, introduction scene) next tuesday at Artemis Gallery in Second Life. This installation in Artemis is the introduction chapter to our under construction CG cyberartistic project in LEA10. In Artemis Gallery we have the opportunity to show what Tir Na Nog will be and share it with you. We have transmuted the gallery into a cave under the sea. The structure of the gallery remains, but now is covered with some sea cyber-fauna and flora.
The chapter talks about the cave as a dimensions crossing, from our land to a magic island where the Gods of the Elements balance our world. In this part of the story the visitor, muted into the character of a castaway, needs to follow the path through the cave and introduce itself to Niamh to get Niska's blessing to cross the gate.
Day: 16/ 04/ 2013
Time: 22.00h UCT (2.00 pm Second Life time, 23.00h Spain)
Location: Galerie Artemis in Second Life
What's Tir Na Nog cyberart installation?
Tir Na Nog will be a surrealistic New Media Art installation based on ancient celtic culture, myths and history, mixed in a cyber renaissance concept, where we'll create a new legend inspired in an impossible romance between the ethereal Dyu and the magic Niska.
It's an immersive multimedia and CG art installation experience rendered in real-time using the 3D virtual world environment of Second Life, thanks to a grant for virtual land for media artists from Linden Endowment for the Arts (LEA) non-profits.
